Almost Famous is located in Belmont and Guersney County, Ohio ans has been entertaining at fairs,
festivals and events locally for about 5 years. They have achieved several recognitions in the past.

They have been features on live radio WWVA-1170 AM, WOUB - Ohio University D28+5,
2006 Colgate Country Showdown area finalists, Jamboree in The Hills and even a special segment on WV PBS television Outlook.

We are especially proud to announce that our banjo player, Steven Moore, who is 15 years old,
was in the top 3 at the 35th 2006 National Bluegrass Banjo Competition at Windfield, Kansas this year.
With this win, Steven has taken the first step of going national with his music. Deering Banjo Company endorsed him
with a new banjo and Steven is now listed with all of the great banjo players at the national competition.
